About the Chair

Abdullah and saeed zaqr scientific program and research to fight AIDS – one of the scientific programs in the university – is a researching or academic  program in the university aims at increasing the human knowledge , improving thinking and serving the local cases ,this course is financed by sheikh WAHEEB BIN ZAQR .

Professor /Ghazi Abdullahtif Jamjoum is the head and supervisor  of the team ,in addition to some qualified ,efficient and experienced researchers

The professors play essentials roles in fighting AIDS such as the caused viruses from all biological and chemical aspects on cellular and molecular level ,determining the way of its spreading ,studying diseases results from infection ,how it occurs and the immunizing response of the body and the reasons of its shortages  .Also , doing researches aims at developing medicines to prevent multiplying the viruses and treat it and developing the vaccine . in addition to participating in treating the patients to evaluate the ways of treating and the effectiveness of new medicines, also participating the awareness efforts  from this diseases and to be protected ,also determining the social factors cause its spreading .
