- Mechanics simulation engines and development group, ANSYS Inc., 1997 until current. Experiences include Midsize and Truck car crash simulations, Pickup car crash, Air bag inflation testing simulations, Explicit Dynamics simulations, Ansys/LsDyna CAD system development, Sheet Metal forming Simulations, spring back analysis and Extrusion Simulations.
- Support of advanced LSDYNA mechanical analysis capabilities including explicit dynamics, spring back analysis, Adaptivity, ALE, contact, reduced integration finite elements, and advanced Engineering Materials.
- Prepare training materials for Ansys/LsDyna and teach theoretical and hands on training classes on the system.
- Automotive Crash Simulation Project, C.M.U. Civil and Environmental Department, USA, 1995.
Duties: Design and build an optimal finite model for a highway railing structure using the Structural Analysis CAD System Ingrid-DYNA3D-Taurus. This model was then used in crash simulation with the 820c car model (Ford’s compact car model). Main aspects of the analysis are: Large deformations and large strains, nonlinearities, large element models, explicit dynamics, Hourglass control, reduced integration elements, contact analysis, and elastic-plastic behavior of the materials.
- Discrete Events Simulation and ADT, C.M.U. Civil and Environmental Department, USA, 1996.
Duties: Building, debugging, testing and integrating ADT into pre-existing Discrete Event Simulation 500,000 line Software. These ADT include Lists, Queues, Stacks, Dictionaries, Sets, Binary trees, sorting, and Searching components.
